Redefining Productivity with Cycle Alignment!
Aligned Way of Work (A-WOW) is a movement and methodology that helps women align their professional lives with the natural rhythms of their menstrual cycle. Here we guide working women to reclaim their cyclical wisdom and transform it into a professional superpower.
Most workplaces operate on a linear model of productivity — expecting consistent output day after day. But women’s bodies work cyclically.
A-WOW offers workshops, tools, and programs designed to help women work in harmony with their bodies — not in spite of them.
Instead of pushing through fatigue, we help women tap into the intelligence of their cycles to make room for rest, renewal, focus, and flow — creating sustainable productivity without burnout.
Our Story
A-WOW was born from a deeply personal realization: most women spend decades working in systems that were never designed with their bodies in mind.
Our co-founder, Suma, had worked for over 28 years without ever being taught how her cycle impacted her energy, focus, or motivation. She wasn’t alone.
As women, we were expected to show up the same every day — even when our bodies, minds, and emotions shifted week to week. That pressure to “power through” wasn’t just exhausting — it was unsustainable.
So we decided to change the narrative.
Together, we’re creating a space where women can unlearn the hustle and reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies. A-WOW is our invitation to every working woman: to thrive not by fighting your rhythm, but by flowing with it.
At A-WOW, we empower women to align their work with their cycles, leading to healthier, more sustainable productivity.
In doing so, we’re reimagining inclusive workplaces — where both women and men thrive by honouring natural rhythms, creating happier, more human ways of working.

What Our Attendees Say
I had the wonderful opportunity of attending A-WOW's first workshop, and it gave me so much clarity! I went in with my own understanding of the menstrual cycle women experience every month, but with Suma and Simran's insights, I was able to leave with a clear view on how to plan not only my work but even my life around the 4 major phases. More importantly, the session left me feeling more in-tune with my body, in a positive, hopeful and confident way.
As a result of this workshop, I’ve started to realize that my many shifting moods are not a sign that I’m “going crazy,” but rather deeply connected to my womanhood and menstrual cycle. This workshop offered a completely new perspective: you don’t have to force your body to meet every demand placed on you by work, family, or society. It’s not a weakness—or a sin—to step back and listen to your body’s signals. We were guided through the four key phases of the menstrual cycle and received advice on how to align our work with the emotional and physical rhythms of each phase. It helped me understand that it's okay not to perform at 100% all the time. Sometimes, the timing just isn’t right—and if we give ourselves a few more days, certain tasks can feel much easier and more natural. Unfortunately, our fast-paced lives often pressure us into constantly performing and multitasking. But in order to slow down, to be still, and truly understand what our bodies need, we must first be willing to listen. As the workshop reminded us: “You need to heal yourself before you can take care of others.” That’s something I’m still learning. Thank you, Ladies, for outlining new possibilities—I believe the next step is up to me. You’ve given me a valuable tool, and I just need a little time to apply it. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to take part in this workshop, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone interested in this topic.
The workshop was much needed! It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking you know your body the best and are on top of your menstrual cycle. But it's very rare to actually listen to our bodies. This workshop helped me understand the complete menstrual cycle and why my emotions and energies vary so much over the month. It also helped me find a structure to planning my work based on where I am in my cycle, with a template that is clear and easy to use.
Thanks Suma and Simran for this initiative and for helping women make sense of their bodies and align work for us instead of the other way around!
Thanks so much for the amazing webinar on the female rhythmic cycle! I learned a lot and really appreciated how clearly everything was explained. It was both eye-opening and super helpful. I have learnt how to work for my body and not against it. Grateful for your time and energy!
Thank you and Suma for hosting an amazing and insightful session. I got to know more about my body, the way it functions, the way I can perform better through the phases of cycle. The best part was other women sharing their vulnerabilities and their experiences which made it feel a safe space ❤️ Thanks again.. it was wholesome..
The workshop was lovely and exactly what I wanted for the time being. It was creatively designed - the slides, activites, sharing of individual views. As someone who gained this knowledge, I would now happily share it with friends who have less idea about it. I wish all the success for the work and hope it reaches many many women who continue to benefit from the aligned way.
The workshop completely reframed how I think about productivity. Learning to align my workflow with the phases of my menstrual cycle helped me recognize when to reflect, when to create, and when to take action — all without guilt. The practical tools shared, like cycle mapping and mindful scheduling, gave me a structure I can actually integrate into my daily life. What made it even more special was being in a community of thoughtful, supportive women — it felt empowering to learn and grow alongside others who are also redefining how they show up in work and life.
